This book shows just how exciting vegan cooking can be, and you’ll soon wonder how you ever coped without it. I have been following Richard for a good while now and have tried out quite a few of his recipes and they never fail! The recipes are genius, easy to follow, and allow for substitutions (which is helpful when you're a Canadian vegan living in Poland).
I do wish I knew that this book was very heavy on the vegan seafood cuisine which is something my husband and I really don't like. This book is incredible from start to finish, the photos are beautiful and nostalgic, the recipes are easy to follow and so rewarding and the one thing I didn’t know I was getting with this book was the COMEDY! Richard's ability to tell a story about food that evokes a million feelings all at once is simply unmatched. With a background in street-food and a love of ambitious cooking, Richard has over 200k instagram followers and has developed recipes for the Guardian and Olive Magazine. If there wasn’t pictures of this legend sporting his socks and sandals in this book you’d still know this was his book from the way it’s written.
