Now, one week later, I fell in love with Club de Nuit Intense Man - with the actually intended smell and its fantastic longevity and sillage. I've been told by my girlfriend that when she smells this it's the only thing she wants to wear, so make of that what you will.

If you're looking for an affordable dumb reach date night fragrance it is VERY HARD to beat The One. Performance and longevity is ENOUGH; if you want people 30 ft away to notice you for 8+ hours straight, there are other perfumes out there for that. The only fragrances that use the cardamom in a similar ambery way are Rasasi Sotoor Waaw and Halfeti Leather. When I finally bought a bottle in fall 2022, all the warm notes were gone and I was left with something that smells like cheap shower gel.

This and the EDT share a vaguely warm feel and dressy style that I perceive almost like a Dior Homme sans its typical iris. I've owned both the EDT and EDP and the EDP definitely is richer and stronger smelling overall but that doesn't mean the EDT is weak by any stretch of the imagination. I am not sure where the sweetness of this scent comes from it's confusing to me because it actually has a slightly vanilla smell to it, it's not citrus smelling at all like you'd think if you read grapefruit on the notes.I think this is a timeless fragrance and i hope the smell of this fragrance it won't be outdated in the future. However, what truly sets The One apart is its warm and enduring heart, where amber and tobacco entwine, creating an alluring and lasting embrace. Had been on the youtube's hype train EDP as the best choice for so long that I never give EDT a chance till this day. I feel its more masculine than the super sweet vanilla bomb fragrances in this genre, but could also still be pulled off by certain women.

Finally, indulge in the mesmerizing scents coming from the base of vetiver root, amber, musk, and vanilla. With 12-15+ sprays its still gone within two hours, with little to no projection or sillage after the first 30 minutes. This scent, with its rich amber and tobacco accords, emerges as the ultimate weapon in the arsenal of date night fragrances for men, encapsulating the essence of romance and timeless charm.It’s not super strong so it’s great for intimate occasions and lasts long enough to get you through the evening but don’t expect it to go all day and reach far. Yah, you need like 5-10 sprays if you want to wear it out in the day, but I personally believe it is used to its full potential during the evening.

EDIT: apparently the more recent bottles are made in Italy with a new contractor, and these have significantly better performance than the French made batches (2017 - 2021?The amber gets more woody and spicy as the fragrance dries down and then you'll start to smell a bit of cedar along with the amber, tobacco and spices. I read some people have projection issues, but I find this has strong projection and longevity for me. It’s not MIND BLOWING, so don’t expect to be dazzled or you’ll be disappointed, it’s just really really nice to smell and easy on the nose.
