About this deal

Had Stuart known it was SD before putting the disc in then the PQ wouldn't have been such a disappointment and he might have enjoyed the film more.

The pair sit together for a running, screen-specific chat that covers a fair amount of useful material. Before I say anything that might put you off this movie, I'll preface my comments with the statement that this is as good a horror film as has been made in the last 10 years. He acts as oral subtitles for the first batch and tosses out useful notes such as the way still photographers work on the set. Some are better than others, but as one of the few people who liked the film's theatrical ending, I didn't think any of them were that great. Knowing that all this was filmed for real rather than being created inside a computer makes it all the more remarkable. The audio commentary of the director, Danny Boyle, is nice to listen to, his filming process, and such things.

After the jet zooms past the three waving survivors and their distress sign, Selena wonders aloud, "Do you think he saw us this time? The one thing that does come close to deflating the experience for me is the relatively conventional third act. There are also two great collections of photos delivered via animated slideshows -- a traditional "Production Gallery" (18 minutes) and a casual "Polaroid Gallery" (4 minutes). A breath of fresh air in a stagnant room of zombie flicks, '28 Days Later' transcends the genre and is likely to be enjoyed by all audiences. Gathering his wits about him, he stumbles out into London's streets, now empty and looking like they've undergone some terrible calamity. The first finishes the flick on a darker note, while the second resembles the existing conclusion except it omits one character who dies here but not in the released movie.

I went with a “C-” mainly because I couldn’t leave the impression it looked appealing at all, but I didn’t feel I comfortable with a lower grade because I recognized the flaws of the original material. Shaky colors and wavering contrast combine to create a painful, two-dimensional picture -- one that is further flattened by the consistent presence of intrusive artifacts. However, the more obvious dv elements brought about by the blu-ray transfer are closer to how it looked in theaters, especially since it creates the intended contrast with the ending which was shot with traditional 35mm cameras.

Being a military outfit, though, they aren't one for communal living, and their regiment is harshly ruled over by Major Henry West (Christopher Eccleston).Pro další zvýšení kvality obrazu je přehrávač vybaven 36bitovým zpracováním obrazu, které dokáže reprodukovat přesnější barevnou gradaci což má za následek jemnější podání barev s lepším vykreslením odstínů a jemnějšími přechody. I saw this movie near the second film's release, only hearing about the series when the second one came out. Finally, we get into the usual behind-the-scenes stuff, showing how they had to clear out parts of London to make the shots. If you're not particularly a fan of the film (which presumably he isn't having just got round to checking it out) that's not necessarily a particularly obvious piece of information. Next comes a generous collection of "Deleted Scenes and Alternate Endings" that also include optional director commentary.
