I think I might consider getting one in the future but for now I'm really attracted to the square watch and the tide graph feature of the G-Lide especially since I plan to learn surfing soon. All products undergo rigorous quality controls across all attributes of a product (Box, color, material, stitching, tag, sizing, manufacturing quality) before they are shipped to you. We welcome all manufacturers including Casio G-Shock, OMEGA, Rolex, Breitling, Rolex and Tudor, Seiko, Grand Seiko and others. The following features are equipped: radio controlled, world time, moon phase, tide graph, chronograph, countdown timer, alarm, power reserve indicator, perpetual calendar, backlight, date, day, month. However, given a choice, I would still go with a negative display with this model as the white and black really stand out from the rest of the similarly shaped Casio watches.

Since I live in a place where I couldn't sync the watch I don't mind not having atomic function but I am attracted to the Solar watch vs. I always wanted a smaller G-Shock with a moon phase feature that was solar and atomic so this checks off the boxes.

The truth of the matter was the negative display, while having a "cool factor", was difficult to read in almost all conditions save direct sunlight. If you got lucky, your time piece may keep good time but in my experience, they are not, and are widely variable due to the fact that the specs for the time keeping of most Seikos are very wide.

I would pick them over Seiko though (even though they are pretty much the same company as Seiko bought out Orients).
