To change between the white light and RGB outputs, simply press and hold the button with the light on and unlocked and it will cycle through white, red, green, blue and then release the button at the desired colour mode. However lack of mode memory for RGB modes is a major omission, as if you want to use a coloured mode you generally don't want to have to cycle through a white mode first.
