Dr. Fifth is a children's picture book written and illustrated by Adam Hargreaves and is a part of the Doctor Who Meets Mr Men and Little Miss series, which tells a story about the Fifth Doctor being trapped by the Master in the most dastardly places on Earth – a supermarket. Trapped with him are his companions Tegan Jovanka, Adric, and Nyssa. Today is National Dr Who/T.A.R.D.I.S. Day (23 November) and I thought it would be apropos to read this today. Dr. Men was a series of Mr. Men books focusing on incarnations of the Doctor, from the Dr. Who franchise, published by Puffin Books and written by Adam Hargreaves. I’m sure many will look forward to adding these, and the already seen other Doctors (In The Books) to their collection along with we hope a Dr. Thirteenth! As you can see every Doctor has a totally unique look with features associated with their incarnation such as the hair and glasses for the 12th Doctor . On 6 October 2021, Endeavor Content announced a new Mr. Men and Little Miss series. It currently is unknown when it will premiere. The other thing I was pleased about was that there was a returning baddie! Not that I want to give it away, let's just say this baddie had already turned up to menace a later Doctor (So, I guess, he's not returning in this story, as such, but you know what I mean).

In 2011, Sanrio, the Japanese design company best known as the creators of Hello Kitty, announced that they had reached an agreement to acquire the rights to the Mr. Men and Little Miss characters from Chorion after the company was forced into administration, so they used the THOIP company to take over. What can we say about the Daleks that hasn’t already been said many, many times before?! These intergalactic pepperpots have been exterminating the galaxy since 1963, enjoying television adventures with every incarnation of the Doctor so far.
