This force can be used to damage her weak targets internally by simply staring at them. Me included.Makima has demonstrated herself to be extremely cunning, cold and manipulative as she controls Denji through the promises of a romantic and sexual relationship while also threatening him with outright extermination if he disobeys her. Ruthless and normally dispassionate, she will do whatever it takes to reach her goals, even at the cost of the people she should be protecting. However, it was revealed that Makima also holds rather sociopathic tendencies in terms of her relationship with humanity as it was revealed that she views her love for humans as similar to humans' fondness for dogs, ever perceiving them as one because of their loyal, easily handled, clever and stupid behavior which amuses Makima. In addition, Makima also basks in humanity's adoration and praises her as if she was a goddess which made her happy. During Chapter 83, Kishibe then ends up deciding to kill Makima for the greater good and then executes his plans by summoning the Hell Devil to no avail as she used Denji to defeat it. Even if Makima reveals her goal towards Kishibe that her goal is to make the world a better place for humanity by eradicating all of the devils (including herself if she lost), Kishibe still acts suspicious towards Makima, claiming that she tried to use the Chainsaw Man's powers to distort the world even further. According to Fujimoto himself in this interview, it is stated that Makima symbolizes domination. As she is the first character he created for Chainsaw Man, he had a solid image of both her inside and outside. At the same time, it is also stated by Fujimoto that she was based on Benten from The Eccentric Family due to the fact that she is an unfathomable being higher than humans that has several tragic layers underneath her femme-fatale personality as the people that she perceive as lower lifeforms than her can't be there to comfort her.
