About this deal

Hi Minnie, I too have magnaged to get similar patches on items of clothing (favourite t-shirt and a white cotton shirt). My suggestion would be to redye the tablecloth white. Try and get a white dye that can be used in a washing machine. sorry can't remember what the dye is called but I have done this with great success! Anyway, hope your Mum manages to salvage her lovely tablecloth I have heard that Ace for Colours contains bleach, I’m worried that with continued use will cause my clothes to wear out. Even though it is chlorine-free, OxiClean has a strong scent. It isn’t unpleasant, but might be overpowering in an enclosed laundry room. If you are able to open a window or run a fan, the scent will dissipate. Using it as a presoak takes up to six hours, which makes it even more important to ensure you have enough fresh air. a. If you do not intend to add any other products, such as softener, pour Ace for Whites into the ‘other products’ section

We have more than our fair share of ‘whites’ in this house that are actually a little bit grey. Whilst the majority of the time we remember to separate our whites, there have clearly been times when we’ve forgotten, and as a result, most are more off white than the crisp bright white they started with. Some of the more stubborn stains never seem to disappear. Whoever thought it was a good idea to make babygrows and children’s clothes in light colours is beyond me! Both Mike and Erin wear white shirts every day, and all of them could do with a bit of a freshen up. ACE for Whites is specially formulated to help brighten dull whites whilst still being delicate on clothes. I am asking this on behalf of my Mum, who has just ruined a new table cloth with ACE laundry bleach. What’s more is the fact that you only need to use one to two tablespoons of the solution when you pre-soak your garments before you wash them in your washing machine (or you can skip the pre-soaking and throw your clothes and Ecover straight into your washing machine).

If you’re looking for an eco-friendly option made using natural ingredients, Bio-D’s Laundry Bleach could be a good choice. b. If you are using other products, start your prewash cycle and whilst the water is running pour 1 ½ cups (225ml) of Ace All of the products above are designed to whiten clothes in a timely fashion, so it would be difficult to choose the ‘fastest working product’. Of course. ACE for Colours is perfectly suited for children’s clothes, as long as you follow both the instructions on the bottle and the washing instructions on the care label. I have heard that Ace for Colours contains bleach, I’m worried that with continued use will cause my clothes to wear out. All of the products listed above need at least 1 washing machine’s cycle worth of washing, so you should see results by the end of this cycle. It is up to you to decide how long you want this cycle to last.

Give your net curtains a thorough clean every few months – that’ll help them to keep their colour, shape and they’ll be hygienic too. Pour ACE into the drawer marked with the CL symbol, up to the level guideline. If your washing machine does not have a compartment with the CL symbol: If you plan to use your laundry whitener on colors, make sure that it is a color-safe formula. The OxiClean White Revive Laundry Whitener and Stain Removal and OxiClean White Revive Laundry Whitener and Stain Remover Power Paks are both good for this purpose. Bleach-based laundry whiteners are typically just used on white fabrics, although some are safe for colorfast fabrics. Stain removal with ACE Power Mousse (advertisement feature) We put ACE Power Mousse to the test on a range of stains to see just how well it works! ACE for whites can also be used (diluted) to clean and kill germs on kitchen and bathroom surfaces. There are many products available to buy online and in stores, but there are often mixed results with shelf-bought items. Further to this, some people like to mix a method mentioned above with an off-the-shelf product to get the best end result. It’s up to you though! But that’s not necessary. Most of the time net curtains look old and drawn because they’ve lost their sparkle. In a nutshell, they’ve lost their glowing white colour.
