Isn't it possible that the same number of steelbooks were made for Oppenheimer, Prey and Blue Beetle and it's just a case of more people wanted to buy a copy of Oppenheimer than Blue Beetle or Prey? THE DEVIL OF DETAILS - A look at how production designer Ruth De Jong and team recreated the entire town of Los Alamos with period-accurate props, spectacular sets and painstaking attention to authenticity. So, to answer your question, I think it's a combination of both. Me saying that the item appears "limited" does not negate there being a lot of people interested in purchasing it. Combine low inventory with high demand and this is where we are. But my original point still stands. Universal appears to have significantly underestimated the demand for this item and not supplied stores with a proper amount of inventory.

Also while I liked the art on the steelbook,I actually liked the standard art a little more and would rather see someone who really wanted the steelbook to get it where I was more iffy on it to begin with.
