You can always buy additional mediums with glass reinforcements, pigments, fillers, and control chemicals to use adaptable material for versatile craft ideas. Jesmonite AC730 is water-based micro-concrete and it is close to glass-reinforced concrete, while Jesmonite AC100 is water-based gypsum and it’s more like glass reinforced plaster. Is Jesmonite food safe? Pigments ( 20g of pigment per kilo of mixed jesmonite, I used 1g per 100gr and I got nice pastel colors.)Jesmonite may be an alternative to epoxy resin projects, especially if we consider the price. However, Jesmonite is more opaque than epoxy and doesn’t have a glossy finish until you polish it. It’s also solvent-free and contains no VOCs (volatile organic compounds), keeping the air around you clean so you can just have fun!

AC100 will fit you perfectly if you’re planning to make some home decoration, art projects, and moulded projects, but also for making wall panels. It offers fire-resistant glass-reinforced mouldings. Make yourself a cup of tea, coffee or hot chocolate. Cover your work surfaces to stop them from getting damaged and take everything in your kit out so you can see what you have. Slip on the gloves that are in your kit to protect your hands. Jesmonite AC100 can be used both internally and externally, although external use requires the application of a suitable sealer or external paint system for long-term exposure. It is fire-resistant, having achieved a Class '0' fire rating under UK Building Regulations BS476 (Parts 6&7). Due to its solvent free formulation, AC100 can be cast without damage to rubber moulding compounds, and without limitation to scale. It is also dimensionally stable due to low exothermic reaction, and produces a small amount of expansion on set (1mm/ linear metre).A sealer for jesmonite has the same role as a varnish for an acrylic painting: to make it durable and last for years. You can use a branded Jesmonite acrylic sealer, but if you are in the US, you can replace it with any clear acrylic sealer.
