About this deal

Braun eventually sorted out the problem and the updated cassettes are widely available and this time the price is also right (well, sort of). Side note: if no cleaning mode is shown (meaning the shaver is clean), the short program will always be selected if you still decide to run it. the stations that come with the 9365cc, 9370cc, 9376cc, and 9310cc Sport (initially a Costco exclusive) models only have one standard cleaning mode as opposed to the rest that have 3 (short, normal, intensive).

I mentioned on several occasions that the Braun Series 9 is, as far as shaving performance goes, a great shaver — definitely one of the best you can currently buy.

More versions will become available later on and in more countries as well, but right now it is a lot easier to buy the standard Series 9 or the Series 9 Pro. The S9 PRO+ uses a motor with the exact same rating as the S9 Pro and the standard Series 9, so there’s no upgrade in that regard. As shown in the table above, only the 9365cc, 9370cc, 9376cc, and 9310cc come with the non-Pro station, while the rest of the 93xx versions have the Pro version (3 modes).

The USA models unfortunately only benefit from the standard 2-year warranty. Build quality and ergonomics Perhaps No body fill this problem because nobody compare his shaver with new one, but I think because of very high vibration 40.000 ( 4*10.000) it damage the shaver too…By the way, I lubricate my shaver 2-3 times per month by oil too.And since we saw that performance-wise and feature-wise it is very similar, the standard S9 and S9 Pro offer better value for money. First and foremost, before getting to actually comparing shaver models, it’s important to know that there are currently 4 distinct Series 9 generations. With that out of the way, let’s see what are the most important differences between the four generations and if or how they affect shaving performance. 1. Different shaving heads (cassettes) The Series 9 was highly anticipated worldwide and it pretty much delivered on the promises, even though not without the usual hiccups along the way.

Finally, we have something that’s truly new on the Series 9 PRO Plus: a new slide-out hair trimmer. The shaving head is definitely dryer compared to how it was at the beginning of the drying cycle (dripping wet), but it’s not bone dry. The 6520 is more compact than even the current series 3 models, and, in its nice leather travel case, with the power cord and cleaning brush, and enough space for a small bottle of lubricating oil, it would take up less space in a travel bag than the 3-3000S, and definitely less space than the series 5-5030S in the hared travel case I bought for it. So I wouldn’t dismiss the models that come with the non-Pro station like the 9370cc or 9310cc, especially if you can get them for a better price. But moreover, it was now a 6-in-1 SmartCare center vs the previous 5-in-1, so it had to be different, right? But this time around, we got a new, slightly improved cassette that’s a bit better with long facial hair. That said, there’s also nothing inherently wrong with it and it gets the basics right which ultimately makes using it quite enjoyable and straightforward. Included accessories The type 5790 (dry only) Series 9 shavers have been phased out and replaced by the newer wet/dry models. For that reason, relying entirely on the foil replacement notification is probably not the best approach. I think the S9 PRO+ would be a great option for men who shave less often or don’t have a very regular schedule.
