If you want to read my rant about this book scrollllllll down. FYI I read the synopsis when adding this to my TBR before it was out. So of course when it came out, I saw all the gushing over it, and I went straight in not reading the synopsis since that TBR add.. so I really went in blind.. not to mention the synopsis did a crap job of explaining this book. Arianna has been crushing on her brother's bff, Chase, for years, but of course deemed off limits. They get carried away on the beach one night and Chase calls it a mistake soon after. Arianna goes into a bit of a depression, but eventually meets Noah.

Arianna is getting ready to start her first year of college and she hopes this is the year she can finally be with the man of her dreams. Chase. Her brother’s best friend. But things with Chase do not go as planned. Ari is in a close knit, family like friend group that consists of Ari, Cameron (Ari’s BFF), Mason (Ari’s twin brother), Brady and Chase. It puts a strain on the friend group at first, but things start to normalize. And just as your were hoping for some good news, Noahs second tragedy happens and my heart breaks for him. He was so broken, from what happened to Ari that when his mother passes he's barely holding on.

Chase. Noah is acting in the best interest of Arianna every step of the way while Chase is only acting in his own best interest.

Nonetheless, the pacing of the book was very well done and I loved how character-driven it was. Do gotta say there isn’t much of a plot but the characters made up for it! (Except for Chase lmao) I just love when a book makes you feel so many emotions throughout the process of reading it and this book did just that and more!! A College Romance… Coming February 18th. Wow, I didn’t expect to love this book so much and have so many emotions coursing through me. The story was beautiful and I loved it. Since i haven't read one review mentioning this, let me tell you the premise of the story is in fact a FREAKING LOVE TRIANGLE. Arianna and Cam are vivacious, flirtatious, and love life. The boys are very protective of them and have been forever. Although Arianna "loves" Chase, Mason has insisted that his best friends are to have NOTHING to do with his "baby sister". One night Arianna crosses a line with Chase (she kissed him) to test the attraction and she became hard for him to ignore. He tried. Now I’m a husk of the person I used to be, I’m travelling down a route that’s too hazy to follow, and I don’t see any way out. These are the boys of Brayshaw High, who are treated like kings and are inconceivably attractive. Raven is the girl that got right in their way.They say that it doesn’t matter that she is actually one of them now, and there is nothing that can ever change that. Not even her, if she should dare try. Now there's a new man in my life, one who isn't afraid to go after what he wants, and what he wants ... is me. Tropes or Themes: Brothers Best Friend, Love Triangle, Friends To Lovers, Found Family, Sports, Football, Team Captain, College, Cursing, Virgin, Letters, Pregnancy Loss, Memory Loss, Loss Of Parent & Medical Content i have never felt so deeply for book characters in my life, the love i have for them is unreal. i felt so at home reading about them and their relationships, and seeing how they develop through the book. and i am in awe of the characters and how beautifully they go together.

For a long time, I’ve fantasised about what my life might be like if I went to college, and even if certain details shifted over time, there was always one element that remained the same. And our heroine Ari is super lovable and relatable- she’s a softer Meagan heroine. Of course, she has fortitude and strength, but she’s also quite vulnerable. She’s a bit of a bleeding heart- which makes it so easy for her to be hurt. But she also has such a delicious spark and sass to her- I just loved her heart and her humor. We experience so much of this story through her shoes - grappling with her longing, her heartbreaks, the loss and drama of young love, the joy and excitement of it. Let's talk about the star of this book for me: Noah Riley. My sweet angel baby, Noah 🥰 Noah is so pure with a true heart of gold. I loved the way he adored his mom and the love he had for her. Noah is the definition of "he falls first" and "boy obsessed". He met Arianna by accident and was taken with her right away. He was caring, sweet, adoring, and absolute perfection. I loved how he paid attention to what was important to Arianna and made her life easier. Acts of service is definitely his love language and it showed in the way he took care of her. He deserves all the love in the world and has the patience of a saint. I would give anything to have him call me 'Juliet' or 'baby' 🥺 My heart broke for him after the tragedy and the events that unfolded. There's so much trauma that he'll have to work through and I just wanted to hold him.Chapt 12 had my heart in flutters and heartbreak yet relieved for a new girl to come out of her shell …. I was so upset finishing this book solely because I never wanted it to end. If i could read it over and over again forever, I would. This story was perfect and beautiful. But so heartbreaking and raw and painful. You will go through every emotion possible with this book. But it will leave you feeling complete. I will love this book forever and ever and will never stop thinking about it. I do gotta say though that some of the things certain characters (such as Cam and Brady) said were a bit cringe imo but not that bad that I had to look away lol.
