Love triangle and then the way the author resolves the love triangle was to kill off a main character (When Forever Changes anyone!I love books and envy the skills of many authors but Siobhan Davis makes magic like no other with her characters. Besides going beyond emotional roller-coaster onto sky-diving level, this story has a surprising plot, complex characters that have you sometimes loving and hating them in succession, and the ability to draw you in and keep you hostage even when the book is over. Siobhan Davis excels at conjuring drama in her writing and Let Me Love You was teeming with emotional turmoil from start to finish. I did prefer the first book as felt this was a little drawn out but with so many surprises and disclosures to cover I could understand why.

The truths that hid and the lies that haunted this story were jaw dropping and more often than not heartbreaking. There she is given the chance to undo her regrets and try out each of the other lives she might have lived. This author seems to be known for creating angst and she did achieve that early on (especially in book 1) but then she overdid it. When several members of the ring soon turn up dead, Billy abruptly pulls Kate out, blowing her cover. Bringing their own unique and counter-balanced personalities to proceedings they ask questions such as: what is happiness?This is a story filled with secrets and lies, drenched in heartbreak and pain, but it’s also a lesson in forgiveness and redemption and finding the strength to go on when life seems insurmountable. My thoughts were constantly whirling wanting more and afraid to turn the page to find out what happens next at the same time.
