About this deal

I didn't match ISOs and it's probably not a perfect test, but I think it provides some insight and could help someone make that decision for themselves. and the subject quite close, but even then the background isn’t hugely blurred compared to larger formats or brighter lenses. When attached, it allows camera rotation, eliminating the need to tilt the tripod head for switching from landscape to portrait orientation or vice versa.

aperture is maintained throughout the focal range, a very useful feature and not just for shooting in low light. For many shots, the 40-150mm locked-onto subjects quickly and without fuss, but for others it struggled, especially with faces in lower light conditions. You mention a “direction-changer clamp” above with reference to the use of the really right stuff plate with the 40-150 mm F2. Please note that, due to calculations, your monthly repayment may differ very slightly from what you were expecting.aperture and a new focusing system which powers 2 high-grade elements using dual linear motors for ultra-quick and near-silent focusing. The longer focal length has delivered an even tighter view of the background, allowing you to be very selective about what appears in it (so none of the walls or doors of the earlier shots). Removable rotating tripod collar offers a stable platform for working with this lens atop a tripod or monopod.

Smooth circular bokeh combined with a high resolution and pin-sharp details will leave users impressed from the centre to the edges of the frame. Leaving the closest shooting distance unchanged, the maximum shooting magnification is increased to 0. PRO lens is the first lens to feature a Dual VCM (Voice Coil Motor) AF system and the results are impressive throughout its versatile zoom range. Then again, you can always rotate it up and out of the way and then use it as a handle to carry the lens and camera. Everyone has seen these lenses, and it is usually the lens everyone associates hanging off a camera when you see a “big white lens. That said, there is of course also a substantial difference in the respective zoom ranges of these two with the Panasonic lens’s ‘classic’ 70-200mm equivalent range starting slightly wider but stopping well short of the 80-300mm equivalent range of the Olympus lens.
