About this deal

I'm not trying to be smug or anything but somehow I had a feeling the book was going to start that way and was going to end that particular way too. Since this book is as short as part one (review here), I’m not gonna say much about the plot, because everything seems too spoilery! I was really looking forward to reading this instalment after the cliffhanger at the end of part one and while I definitely enjoyed it, the pace did seem to slow down a bit. This time around, he has the help of quickly getting access to the letters he wrote to warn himself and Charlie about losing their memories. So, while this was a good instalment and I was glad I read it, it didn’t have quite the gut-punching impact of the first book. Never the less, the book is a very interesting read with a lot of suspense to be unveild in the Part 3.

As much as I like the narrators, I just wasn’t as satisfied with the book as much as I wanted to be because I wish it was longer. Charlie and Silas sounded like very mean, selfish and unlikeable teenagers and because of that, a certain someone wanted to teach them a lesson. And so begins "The Adventure of Silas Nash and the Many Notes", an epic story of a boy stealing, hiding, reading, sorting, throwing and collecting notes that contains clues of his life and a girl named Charlie. Although I wasn’t quite satisfied with the story in this book, I once again enjoyed Colleen Hoover and Tarryn Fisher’s fantastic writing and storytelling. My thoughts: For all the love that is your sanity, I'd advised you to only pick this series up when it's complete. I won't spoil it for you, but I will say that the "amnesia" storyline was unrealistic enough in the first place. So that really is all I'm going to say about the content, as this series is pretty much, the most compelling thing, I have read this year. It has to be something supernatural because why is it that Charlie and Silas cannot remember anything about themselves or each other but they can remember things like how to work a smartphone, how to drive and celebrities? Now, in this sequel, although there are still some parts and points that are unrevealed, the slow unraveling of the stories’ mysteries were very appreciated. We’re excited to share that it is now packaged beautifully as one novel and February 28 th was the re-release day for the full novel, Never Never, about Charlie, the girl who forgot, and Silas, the boy who wanted to help her remember. Every memory they had lovingly crafted and created throughout their lives has been reduced to rubble and rumour, leaving Silas and Charlie the monumental task of piecing their love back together, one brick at a time.

The authors originally planned on releasing it as a standalone but later realized that the story would not fit into one book, so they’re giving us multiple books! I guess it just bugs me that this "part" isn't anything close to resembling a full book that I can rate accurately.

HOWEVER, I can see absolutely no reason Never Never has been serialized other than as a money-making ploy by the authors.
