About this deal

Looking at the Universal Foldable Keyboard is obviously a good idea, since the keys aren't quite where they are usually on a static, continuous keyboard. Now, there have been various 'boost' utilities for Android in the past and they've been a bit patchy in how well they work. You also forego the comfortable key travel—the keyboard is so thin that there's barely any room for the keys to move up and down, and this makes typing feel like pressing on wet cardboard. Unfold this lightweight, pocket-sized keyboard, powered by a rechargeable battery with 36 hour battery life, you are good to go for hours at a time.

But on the upside, the case doubles as a nice stand for your phone or iPad, and the keyboard is comfortable to type on.

Typing is easy once you get used to the small size, which is noticeable but then it's a portable sized keyboard so you adapt. Happily there's not much to do in light of getting started, exemplified by a few diagrams inside the box's cover. The steps come from Ted in bullet point form, but expanded by me here and with screenshots, which will hopefully help.

You can use it on your lap but it does 'flop' about a bit so would be better with a book or something underneath to provide a little more stability. Again, some of the keys here are oddly shaped—the t key is three times the size of the y key, for instance. Foldable keyboard has items of piano pouch keyboard storage, piano multifunctional, bluetooth keyboard and roll up piano. She's got a decent 10" tablet that's ideal for most things she needs to do but as most of us know, typing on a tablet can be frustrating and slow. The touchpad is also smaller than most laptop touchpads, which makes precise maneuvering more difficult. Pair one of these tiny keyboards with Google Docs or the mobile version of Microsoft Word, and you’ve got a desktop word-processing experience in your pocket. Key Quality—High-quality scissor switches supply a satisfying sensation when tapping away on this wireless keyboard. And when you're done typing, fold it up into a compact rectangle, and stow it away until the next time you need it. This might be a minor to non-existent issue for some, but for me who uses a Macedonian Cyrillic keyboard layout interchangeably with the English one, it's quite hard to locate and then get used to the placement of the extra letters in the alphabet that are assigned to buttons with these special characters. But Wavelet, discovered by Ted Salmon back in 2021, is a whole different kettle of fish, in that it works supremely well, with extra bass, clarity, and volume, BUT has a very confusing interface. These work with all modern (read Bluetooth 4 and above-compatible) operating systems and add to the 'laptop' feel when using this with a tablet or large-screened phone. The letter keys are the same size as the Plugable's keys, but here on the Arteck, the cursor keys are smaller and you don’t get a dedicated row of function keys along the top. Bluetooth supported devices such as laptop, computer, tablet, smartphone can easily paired and gain quick access to common functions, such as volume level, playback control, copy paste text, and more. The keys are slightly smaller than on a regular keyboard and have a crisp and familiar touch, with the precise scissor switch mechanism found on quality desktop and laptop keyboards. I'm not quite 'there' yet and do tend to look at the keyboard while typing with up to six fingers - hey, it works for me.
