Plastic secondary glazing is a much more cost-effective alternative when you compare it to glass - and when you can cut it to any size or shape you need it to be - then installation should be a straightforward and safe process.

The white adhesive used on the magnetic strip is visible through the pane but this can be covered by Magnetglaze Finishing Trim in either Standard or Extreme variations. This creates a smart and professional framing effect in either white or brown, to match your window decor. It's quite time-consuming to do (fixing all the tapes), but one gets quicker and more accurate with practice. As the kit uses brown magnetic strips, it is not strong enough to hold acrylic panels that have dimensions in excess of 1000mm (1 metre). These stick best if the window surface is thoroughly cleaned before use, using Surface Preparation Wipes, which are included in the 5m kits but none of the other pack combinations.Julia We used this for some secondary glazing it’s been an 80% success, this possibility not the fault of the tape. Use only internally, on any non-opening window frame, and with plastic glazing sheet – we do not recommend glass with magnetic products or using magnetic panes on roof/ceiling lights for safety reasons.Each pre-pack contains one Mitre Gauge and sufficient nylon fixing clips and woodscrews for the edging strip provided. Both parts of the self-adhesive magnetic strip will be supplied already fitted to your acrylic panels.
