You'll feel their vulnerability, and insecurity, they are double-guessing each other, and both live in a tumultuous state since Blake is his best friend's little sister and he grew up with her. They have been crushing on each other since she turned 15 and they've both been fighting their chemistry. Blake has been in love with Theo for years, but thinks he has only ever seen her as his best friends sister. Everything was set up to be epic, even the narration and then freaking Blake and her childish attitude.

I definitely recommend this for everyone, but especially those who enjoy v-card romances, new adult romances, and college hockey romances. These characters were very well written, even though I wanted to strangle them a time or two throughout the book. I loved how fiercely protective he was with Blakely, having her best interests at heart even if he didn't always show it in the right way. Even when she transferred to the college, he wasn’t so nice to her, and told her she wanted wanted there. Blake is a child, at times i thought ok, she's maybe on her way to handling stuff like a badass but it just kept coming back to the same conclusion.Don’t Let Me Go tells the story of Theo, the boy next door, and Blakely, his best friend's little sister, colliding with an inevitable attraction that was years in the making.
