About this deal

Now this may not sound too bad, but picture this scenario. You go to a mechanic because you’re car is acting up, they finish fixing it and you ask what happened. Some mechanics will tell you “part broke, we put a new one in, should work now.” while some others will attempt to go into detail of the entire inner workings of your car, why it stopped working, how it stopped working, everything they did to get it to work again, and how it works better now after they got it working again and they usually speak in terms relating to the job they do. Despite listening to what he’s saying, understanding the words and even recognizing the names of many of the parts, you are completely and utterly lost because this is a completely foreign knowledge base to what you may be used to. This entire series’ magic explanation is like that second mechanic. It’s great for people who are really interested in it but terrible for people who aren’t. The visuals are OK, not great, not horrible, I don't really care about them as long as they aren't 2004 level of Flash animation or stop motion or that weird CGI like in the anime Ajin. Some people complain how the animation is low quality, nobody cares about that, the animation is good, people just try to find things to be outraged about, because they have nothing going on in their lives. Master Swordsman - Ray's swordsmanship is shown to be incredibly high, easily surpassing Albert and Amelia and this is due to years of training since he was a child.

To make matters worse, the characters' personalities were also changed, with the main hero's personality being the most noticeable. Their reactions also seemed forced and unbelievable. Ice Bloom Profusion - The first time Ray utilized this method, a whirlwind formed around Gray before she was frozen. Although its true purpose is not confirmed, it appears to have the ability to freeze and seal away a person. Hazra, Adriana (October 7, 2022). Not that the manga is some miracle sent by god but it is a hell of a lot better than this generic adaption. They changed pretty much everything about the characters except for Evi who felt somewhat the same in both the manga and anime adaption. My biggest flaw with the adaption is how they changed the mc. In some ways he's the same but mostly he's just a generic overpowered mc now and in the manga he felt like he had more emotion and Natalie (in Japanese). Natasha, Inc. July 8, 2022. The story became more cliche and predictable, with every scene spelt out to an embarrassing amount, and the same setup feeling completely The protagonist attends a Magic academy because he wants to learn more about Humans, make friends etc. Something cruel happened in his past and because of that his only "friends" are a group of soldiers. It’s interesting, but it does suffer from poor pacing. And entire story arc gets completed within the first 10 chapters. Sorry for the rant near the end but, the magic system annoys me. different in the worst way possible. The art style was also one of the most disappointing aspects, with the heroes' designs completely changed and the animation feeling stiff and the action scenes badly choreographed. I didn’t really care about Rebecca as a character because she didn’t have much screen time, but they tried to make it seem like she was an important character and force us to be emotional with her situation. Probably a result of skipping some source content I’d imagine. Transcription: " Sekai Saikyō no Majutsushi de Aru Shōnen wa, Enshū o Kaishi Suru" ( Japanese: 世界最強の魔術師である少年は、演習を開始する) The characters. The ones we get in this series are fairly enjoyable but they do suffer from the pacing so they don’t often get the development they need. This leads a lot of the characters’ personalities to be their personalities. There’s only really been a couple of characters who have interested me so far and only one of them are even in the main cast and it’s not even the MC. Speaking of, the MC is more or less another “optimistic yet troubled soul” and tends to get very edgy. It’s harder to talk about him because despite completing about 3 arcs in the 26 chapters I read, they’ve given be surprisingly little to work with with him. There's no sugarcoating it. The Iceblade Sorcerer Shall Rule the World is one of the most painfully derivative fantasy anime out there. All the expected clichés are out in full force. When it comes to the characters, we have an overpowered protagonist who can easily stomp even the most dangerous of enemies. Then we have the harem of girls obsessed with him—each fitting into the classic archetypes of the ojousan, the tsundere, the dandere, and the oneesan. We also get the good guy's best friend and the self-important rival who looks down on Ray for his commoner blood to round out the cast.

The story. It’s a decently laid out story with some intrigue and actual plot twists that you don’t see coming half the time. The main problem is that it all goes by too fast except when there’s a fight. It’s as if the author didn’t want to focus on the characters themselves and instead focus on the action aspect. It would explain why most of the character development happens during the fights instead of outside them. The Iceblade Sorcerer Shall Rule the World - Watch on Crunchyroll". Crunchyroll .
