As the Basic Rules state, on a turn, each player draws one card from the deck and then plays a card from their hand. After the success of Icehouse, Looney Labs created an easy-to-learn card game which was fun to play, and so Fluxx was born!

The people I’ve played Fluxx with for the first time who have gotten the frenzied transmogrification that is the game have really enjoyed it. They have also given away promo cards for Christmas to members of their online mailing list and in High Times magazine. It is the base version for the app, with the ability to add both the Creeper Pack and Zombie Fluxx to the app.

There were (at least) two different printings/distributions of this version of the game: one had the older card styles, and one had the newer card styles. Minor Storytelling Elements: The goals in Fluxx, such as Chocolate Milk and Hippyism almost form mini-stories, creating a game that's about more than just playing cards. Meanwhile, Fluxx will be busily exercising everyone's logic synapses as you attempt to deal with the chaotic situations that occur because of the cheerful clash of rules. It is different from most other card games, in that the rules and the conditions for winning are altered throughout the game, via cards played by the players. When I was a kid, some of my favorite gaming experiences involved playing Gin Rummy with my grandmother. Any time 2 of that player’s pawns are in position (at the same time, of course), that player claims the Goal card.

Very Expandable: The core elements are simple enough that it's very easy to add new cards, especially goals and keepers. The More Rules expansion includes 13 cards – 10 fun, lesser-seen New Rules, plus 3 Meta Rule cards; the More Actions expansion includes 10 powerful fan faves that will spice up any Fluxx game; and the More Surprises expansion includes 10 cards – the 4 original Surprises, 4 rarer ones, and 2 all-new cards. I do like the Zombie version better so I hope they add all of their others theme versions of this game as well.
