About this deal

The NITRO+ AMD Radeon™ RX 7900 Series Vapor-X Graphics Cards are constructed with a Die CastedAluminum-Magnesium Alloy Frame that strengthens the structural stiffness of the shroud and ensuresdurability whilst enveloping the sides of the PCB. Located on top of the frame is the Frontplate Heatsinkwhich overlays the entire PCB to cool the VRM components as a dedicated VRM cooling module to createoptimal heat dissipation for peak airflow and cooling performance.

It really is amazing to see just how good the current crop of high end GPU coolers are. 450W TDPs are well within their capabilities, but having said that, they damn well should be given the sheer size of the things! The Die Casted Aluminum-Magnesium Alloy Frame enveloping the sides of the PCB help to strengthen the structural stiffness of the shroud to create a strong, scratch resistant and high quality finish that elevates the aesthetic and strength of the graphics card. Overlaying the entire PCB, the die casted Frontplate Heatsink cools the VRM, Memory and Chokes resulting in superior heat dissipation for top-notch airflow and cooling performance. The Nitro+ features Sapphire's stunning 3.5 slot Pantheon cooling solution. Its matte grey finish is minimalistic but beautiful in look and feel. Among its many features are the Vapor-X vapour chamber, wave fins for reducing noise, a die cast aluminum front plate for VRM cooling and compared to the reference model, - much greater surface area for heat dissipation. This is a cooler that looks like it can go toe to toe with anything on the Nvidia side of the fence. Finance is only available to permanent UK residents aged >18, subject to status, terms and conditions apply. Sapphire has done an amazing job with the tongue twistingly named Sapphire Nitro+ Radeon RX 7900 XTX Vapor-X. It's taken the Navi 31 GPU and unleashed it. It's faster, cooler, quieter and looks better than the reference card. Depending on just how it's priced in your country, I'd say the price premium Sapphire is asking for is worth it.

WAVE Fin Design & V-Shape Fin Design for GPU cooling

There is a praiseworthy, cutting-edge cooling system with triple slots, 3 x Angular Velocity fans and a 6-pipe heatsink, further ventilated by cutouts in its metal shroud, installed on the Sapphire Radeon RX 7900 XT to keep the temperatures under control, which allows players to enjoy their favourite titles without obsessing over internal temperatures, especially when the graphical settings are turned up to Ultra. Regarding inputs, Sapphire provides 2 x DisplayPort 2.1 ports and 2 x HDMI 2.1a ports. The card's power is supplied via 2 x 8-pin PCIe connectors, supporting maximum power delivery of 375 Watt. Sapphire RX 7900 XT: Verdict and Price UK Alphacool's Core product series is characterized by high quality, outstanding performance and the uniform and functional design language. The build quality is unreal, the performance from a 6800xt to the 7900xt is unreal, and the cooling at full load is 77 degrees at the junction! With tasteful shroud design augmented by ARGB LEDs, you can change the colors of the LEDs, for a customized design. This can be controlled via TriXX software. Choose from various different modes including Fan Speed Mode, PCB Temperature Mode or the Colourful Rainbow Mode or turn off the LEDs.

All in all, the high-end GPU status quo hasn’t really changed. Nvidia has the fastest and most expensive card in the RTX 4090, as it did with the 3090/Ti, plus it has the fundamentally excellent, though overpriced 4080. AMD’s challengers offer better value (though the Sapphire is a pricey option to be sure) while the RX 7900 cards are very competitive in non ray traced games much like the 6800/6900 series was. NOTE: Minimum recommended system power supply wattage is based on the specific graphics card and the typical power requirements of other system components. Your system may require more or less power. OEM and other pre-assembled PCs may have different power requirements. That's what I was going for. Mainstream and entry level cards have compromises, high end designated cards should only have ray tracing as their compromise (and that's not much of one in many cases). The Sapphire RX 7900 XT Pulse is a relatively large card at 313x134x53 mm. It's a triple-slot card for all intents and purposes — even if it's technically only a "2.7-slot" design, you can't really fit anything in that third overlapped slot. It weighs 1417g as well, which isn't too bad given the dimensions. For comparison, the reference AMD 7900 XT card measures 276x113x51.5 mm and weighs 1490g. The GPU is mounted onto the High TG Copper PCB. Constructed of 14 layers of high-density 2oz Copper PCBwith a high TG [Glass Transition] temperature value PCB to match the power requirements of the GPU andmemory and guarantee mechanical stability of the PCB during operation. The board design uses premiumand efficient compact Ultra High Performance Conductive Polymer Aluminum Capacitors which fullyenables the 20-phase power design of the PCB. Always liked Sapphire cards, and this one is no exception. I personally buy GPUs mostly on aesthetic (after considering pricing obviously), as performance-wise GPUs of the same series from different brands probably aren't really that different between each other, especially for a casual user like me. I mean, maybe a couple degrees difference in temperature or a single-digit percent in FPS, but honestly not enough for me to feel it.
