Vinyl might be delivered unsealed as we have to open copies to check vinyl colours, if not sufficiently labeled by the distributor / label. I would highly recommend just purchasing a sealed or NM copy of the 2015 version as the mastering just as so much more range.

The presentation itself is fine but the color scheme is clearly more washed than the original designs. Since the premiere of the film, two official albums have been released containing music omitted from the film and also new compositions featuring a similar style. An orchestral rendition of part of the soundtrack was released in 1982 by the New American Orchestra. The duo was brought in somewhat later in the production process, after the score’s initial composer, Icelandic composer Jóhann Jóhannsson, ceased involvement due to creative differences. Some of the pieces contained will be known to you from the Original Soundtrack of the film, whilst others are appearing here for the first time.Examples where various disciplines come together to produce something as seminal as Blade Runner are rare, and this pressing is the perfect way to honour that.
