About this deal

Il problema è dovuto agli ENORMI buchi di trama e non sto parlando di piccoli dettagli ma di parti importanti. You act one way in front of everyone else, but at night when I’m on the phone with you, I get the real Charlie. It’s going to be absolute torture not dialing your number and hearing your voice before I go to sleep each night, but I can’t do this anymore. I can’t only love that part of you—the real part of you. I want to love you when I talk to you at night and I also want to love you when I see you during the day, but you’re beginning to show two different sides of yourself. And I only like one of those sides. As much as I try, I can’t possibly imagine how hurt you must be since your father went away. But you can’t let that change who you are. Please stop caring about what other people think. Stop allowing your father’s actions to define you. Figure out what you did with the Charlie I fell in love with. And when you find her, I’ll be here. I told you before I’ll never stop loving you. I’ll never forget what we have. But lately, it seems that you’ve forgotten. I’ve enclosed some pictures I want you to go through. Hopefully they’ll help remind you of what we could have again someday. A love that wasn’t dictated by our parents or defined by our family status. A love we couldn’t stop if we tried. A love that got us through some of the hardest moments of our lives. Never forget, Charlie. Never stop. ~Silas This book is for you if… you enjoy young adult fantasy with a lot of bitter-sweet romance, a cute male main character and a strong lead heroine. This book may be for you even if you didn't appreciate other Colleen Hoover books. I don’t know why we ever started drifting apart, but I’m certain of one thing: I’ll never allow it to happen again” Part 3 of Never Never by Colleen Hoover and Tarryn Fisher opens with a bit of an unexpected twist: Silas has not lost his memory this time. He has been reading love letters they’ve written one another throughout the entire story to learn about their relationship.

Never Never: Part Two by Colleen Hoover, Tarryn Fisher

My first impression of this novel broken in three was of amazement. Charlize or rather Charlie and Silas have no idea who they or their families are, nor do they have a clue what happened to them to cause this. Through a series of events, they both realize they're in the same boat and try to figure out what the hell is going on and why they're in this situation. Attempting to both solve the mystery of their memory loss and keep anyone from realizing it's occurred would be daunting enough, but they also must navigate the social travails of high school, family life, and the fact that there's bad blood between Silas and Charlie's fathers. This turned out to be way cuter than I hoped it would be. My good friend Dora, recommended this series and since we usually agree(ish) on books I decided to give them a try despite all the bad memories. I was not disappointed. It doesn’t have to be this way, Charlie. You’re allowed to love me, despite what your father says. You’re allowed to be happy. What you can’t allow is for negativity to choke you until we no longer breathe the same air.” No matter how tough you’ve been trying to act lately, I know that deep down you have a heart that bleeds in the presence of injustice.”

List Chapter or Page:

As they study their old letters to one another and journal entries, they re-discover their pure love for one another and how powerful it was. They realize that who they’ve been recently is not who they truly are or who they want to be. They also realize that Charlie is not at fault for hiding the documents as Silas’s father had previously thought, and that relationship is repaired as well. Part 3 certainly ties up the loose ends established for the reader in Part 1 and 2, but I also felt the ending was a bit anticlimactic. What had the potential to be a true thriller/mystery did not live up to the hype for me personally. It’s enough to illuminate where I’m going, but not by much, so I pull out my phone and open the flashlight app. I pause and stare down at the open app on my phone. How did I know that was there? I wish there were rhyme or reason to why we remember some things and not others. I try to find a common link in the memories but come up completely empty.”

I lose the time. I have no idea what second I’m supposed to be on. “Never never,” he whispers. His warmth, his lips, his hands. He presses his mouth to mine and kisses me deeply and I… Per me la risposta è no.Then part 3 happened... literally every single theory the book built up was thrown out the window. To be spoiler free, what actually happened to them was the stupidest thing I’ve ever read. Then they the epilogue made it even worse and more silly to read about. Dozens of books. I wonder if she’s read them all, or if she just needs them for comfort. Maybe she uses them as an escape from her real life.”
