About this deal

You know when you’re reading dark romances and there’s that man (MMC) = 😏🥵. Well he never appeared. We got this man = 🥴😒. He spoils me, punishes me, and holds me accountable. So, when the time comes for Clay Butcher to weed out betrayals and take revenge on those who have hurt his family, I will choose him.

Book triggers include a graphic rape scene and a pregnancy as a result of that rape. It also has a miscarriage ⚠️I know nothing of love, family, or stability, having been raised in the foster system and spat out at eighteen, pregnant, and with no memory of how that came to be. If you love books that make you swoon, has an Alpha male or a bad boy, a BBF, Good plot includes drama, Makes you laugh or cry I’m dying to read them out of bedroom. The times when they call each other by their own names r limited. The epilogue novella for the whole series “His Perfect Little Heirs” announced that will be out next year, I can’t wait to read it, especially for Clay & Fawn but also the others. Too pretty to be so utterly vulnerable, alone, and asking for help from the deadliest man in the city—me.

When she first meets Clay, she was captivated and compelled to do everything he said. His magnetic personality, charming looks and powerful stature command people to listen. This book has a lot of butterfly references, and I think that is the perfect representation of this book. he groans, in a way that seems to stifle a powerful, primal urge, "Hurt to be anywhere near you, sweet girl, and not be inside you." This group is a safe environment, where readers c Welcome to Some Like It Hot!, a group for those of us who love to read and write romantic fiction. What’s bizarre is that Fern never considers an abortion. She doesn’t have to choose that, obviously. But it doesn’t feel believable that she’s not at least THINK about her options – even if she’d conclude that she’s choosing to have the baby. There’s a hole in the center of this story where there SHOULD be her having feelings about carrying a baby that resulted from rape. Any normal person would feel some kind of way about it! So, the absence of that is glaring, and weird, and it makes Fern feel less like a real person. The thing is,,, Fawn is a mentally abused girl (and physically that she’s not aware), hungry for love n' attention, a people pleaser and has lots of issues… Fawn is 18 and pregnant with a baby she can not take care of on her own. There is a lot mystery surrounding the night she got pregnant. She was drugged and thinks the father may be the foster brother she loved. She shows up at Clay Butcher's house looking for the previous head of the Cosa Nostra since he was a friend of her father's. She is trying to find her father to give him her baby, but instead, she lands in the lap of her father's enemy, Clay Butcher. He is married, but they are not in a sexual or loving relationship. It was an arranged marriage for political and mafia purposes. Looking at it though, I remember what my mum had once told me: 'Everyone is made up of little contradictory pieces and you should never judge another person's decisions because you don't know the pieces they have to choose from.'
