And on another note with characters, I wanted to mention diversity because I felt, for a book written in 2010 when diversity wasn't so much of a big deal it's pretty good. I would have liked toChris Marker- A boy originally from Rowhurst, he came to the Natural History Museum with Justin and Brooke. He calls himself "The Libarian", and is writing a book known as " The Chronicles of Survival" about the lives of the kids who survived the initial outbreak and how they have been living. He sees books as the future and likes to lose himself to them, he is likely schizophrenic.

Well I originally set out to write three books, but things happened to make me expand that. I had the ideas of what would happen in those three books, but things have expanded in a sort of concertina fashion, with the other books fitting in between the original three. What was going to be the third book is now going to be the seventh book, which is the book I’m writing at the moment, and that is the apocalyptic battle between the army of the kids and they army of the adults. I always knew that’s where I was going to end, and after the first book the second one was going to carry on directly chronologically – it would be the Holloway kids arriving at the Natural History Museum, and Small Sam and The Kid arriving at the Tower of London. The second book was going to be learning what else was going on in London, realizing there’s a growing threat and the kids trying to unite. Josh (deceased) - The second best fighter of the group after Achilleus, who claims he isn't scared of anything. He dies fighting after being cornered by a group of infected chimpanzees.Ed and Jordan make it to the Tower of London, where Jordan dethrones Tower leader Tomoki Ford.
