The 9H surface hardness of the tempererd glass screen protector protects your display perfectly against scratches and damages. S8 enables six touch gestures that support a two-finger / three-finger tap to enter the multi-task menu quickly,switch between preset 9 EQ modes, adjust the screen brightness, etc. And, of course, I can just plug the front dash cam into a 12V to USB adapter just to power it (it records on a microSD card, regardless of connection to the head unit).In retrospect, I think I shouldn't have wasted money on the camera at all, it's not really needed, especially in a Miata. From these options, the CT20VW08 has the fakra to antenna connection but I'm not sure if the car amp will be powered and connected and I assume that no steering wheel controls will work with this.
If you are looking for a unit with all the features of a great stereo and complete entertainment system this definitely gives a lot of value for the cost. I have been a Pioneer guy for many years, unfortunately their Android options are scarce and very expensive. The limited number of USB ports is also an issue, in case you want to use their TPMS system, front dash cam, and connect your phone, as each of those requires a USB port. So i have to figure out how to connect everything and retain all the previous functionality (steering wheel controls, GPS antenna, FM/AM antenna, normal speaker operation.
