These 4 or 5-star reviews represent the opinions of the individuals who posted them and do not reflect the views of Etsy. Popping kernels in the HotPop was a pleasant surprise; this BPA-free silicone popper is as straightforward as it gets. Some models have dishwasher-safe parts, but if you have to wash them by hand, all you'll need is a sponge, soap, and water. The other side gives some pretty cool and valuable tips to help assist you and I with making popcorn as perfect as it possibly can be. It does an excellent job of popping, but the corners on the lid have turned up slightly and the lid slides over while popping which allows kernels and popcorn into the microwave. I bought this popcorn maker today and was eager to come home and try it out; if it worked as promised, I was sure that I would use it often.

Surprised to find out it’s oven safe up to 400*F, and awesome that it’s dishwasher safe, makes cleanup a breeze. If you’re like me, you’re used to eating popcorn that claims to taste just like movie popcorn—either big pre-popped bags of it or the kind that comes in single-use microwavable bags stuffed with kernels coated in butter-flavored chemicals. My only complaints are that it doesn’t pop every single kernel (but I doubt it’s possible to do that in a microwave popper without burning the rest of the kernels) and it would make it easier to use if I could put butter in before popping, as that would distribute the butter more evenly. One con here is that the Salbree popcorn popper only pops up to 1/2 cup of dry kernels whereas on the stovetop, you’re only limited by the size of your biggest pot. x 30 inches | Capacity: 1 cup (unpopped) | Heat Source: electric | Power: 1,420 watts | Empty Weight: 61. My grandchildren get excited when they see me take it out because they know it means blankets, movies and great popcorn!

Movie Time: The perfect healthy snack for film and TV watching, plus, you can make it for friends and family! Wow – just stumbled on this popper and I can believe I’ve been fighting with an air popper that spit out half of the kernels unpopped for so long!

Oil is used for cooking, but it can also contribute to flavor: Try cooking popcorn in coconut, sesame, or extra-virgin olive oil, and you might not need to add any butter. Have used a Nordic popcorn popper for many years, my newest one for just a few months and never an issue.
