About this deal

The inner surface of this part sports the left and right markings and two fixing screws on each side.

I have try the Arya on this DAC-AMP duo above as well as Xduoo XD05plus, Nobsound Q5pro, bunch of DAC+ JDS Atom, and even some powerful DAP like Hiby RS6 and Tempotec V6. Ok, this isn't direct comparison since i had them for about 2 months as a loan lately, but my memory is very fresh about them....and not for a good reason since I really dislike those headphones. I like both the Arya and LCD-X. They have their own strengths and weaknesses. But I’ve been using the Arya more since it is more comfortable to wear. Sometimes I switch between the two depending on the music I listen to or the mood. Arya vs LCD-GXThe Arya aren't mid centric at all even if the presentation of mid range instrument is vast, clean, crisp and highly transparent. It's not sounding compressed, nor too distant due to good upper mids presence boost, and we even have a hint of lower mid range warmth and extra note weight. I have not listened to any Hifiman headphones for quite some time now. The last Hifiman I listened to was the HE400s, and that was more than 5 years ago. So, this is a “fresh start” for me with the company’s newer headphones. I also didn’t get a chance to test the Arya v2 or the v1.

As Hifiman says – and you can see it from the specs – the Arya Stealth is fairly easy to drive. No matter the source used, it will sound good. Hook it up to a more powerful DAP or desktop am however, and you will be even more impressed with the technical level boost.I don’t know how and why this company can exist selling these…“headphones” for the prices they do. They are the Softears of the overear world, it’s insane. The HIFIMAN Arya have an unusual design in the headphone world, but it works to their benefit in comfort over long listening sessions. The over-sized earcups are made to wrap around the ear and distribute the clamp force across a larger area. The design is very effective and leads to a feeling of spaciousness that works well with soundstage. Fans of acoustic guitar are in for alot of joy and wow effect with the Arya, since you will hear every subtilities of string pulling texture, natural brilliance and long sustain decay , the instrument presence will be perfectly define and extracted, not mixing with percussions or feeling blunted in edge. Amping the Arya with a few of my power amplifiers brought them rather close to the Arya Stealth in terms of dynamics, explosiveness and in the finer nuances of the treble, but overall, the Stealth was still ahead with its inherit advantages. The Stealth also benefited from these amps, but scaled less than the Arya. If it’s enough, it’s enough. Conclusion The HiFiMAN Arya Stealth Magnet Version has a very lively, pretty energetic and highly detailed treble tuning that fulfills my expectations from a headphone at this price level. The lower treble region is able to produce an excellent sense of clarity and resolution, while the level of extension that has shown in this area when I do listen to organs, organs or guitars is in one word outstanding.
