About this deal

The pot roast you can adapt, I know you said you couldn't but it really is easy, swap the potato slices for new potatoes or even tinned ones. Slow cookers vary considerably, so follow your manufacturer's manual for guidelines on temperatures and cooking times. Helps to retain natural moisture and minerals whilst serving as a large viewing window to keep an eye on your cooking Choose from low and high heat settings, along with a keep warm function so your meal is ready when you get home from work

There are varying sizes to choose from: 3-litre to 4.5-litre models will feed a family of four, while 5- or 7-litre models are a great option for feeding families and batch-cooking.No liquid escapes from a slow cooker, so when adapting a recipe not specifically written for a slow cooker, reduce any added liquid by a third. The flavour, texture and colour of the dishes were assessed after cooking on both low and high heats. Meat needed to be tender, well-browned and flavourful, as slow cookers have a tendency to rob meat of its colour. Tower is an iconic British brand boasting over 100 years of quality in manufacturing and design excellence. Tower is the UK’s fastest growing SDA & Housewares brand loved by millions of households Depending on the sophistication of what each slow cooker offered, the prices varied broadly. We factored versatility, performance, quality of materials, ease of use and design into this criteria.

Slow Cooker with 3 Heat Settings and Keep Warm Function Beautifully tender meats and casseroles are easily achieved with this slow cooker A slow cooker allows you to cook a variety of hearty meals without hassle, from a creamy korma to a homemade vegetable stewDesign: Are you looking for a simple, budget-friendly option that just slow-cooks (but does it extremely well) or something more versatile that sous-vides, pressure cooks, bakes and roasts too? Do bear in mind that the more technological the slow cooker, the higher the price. If you want to do a smaller amount or use one of your recipes for 4 servings then get a pyrex dish that will fit the ingredients, fold up a tea towel and put it in the slow cooker, put the pyrex dish with the ingredients in and then pour water into the slow cooker but not the pyrex (other than cooking liquid). It works like a glorified bain marie. Can anyone point me in the right direction please? Keen on low carb stuff, soups, stews, chilli, joints etc, not curries, creamy dishes or puddings. Cook a range of delicious family dishes such as casseroles and soups, with the large 6.5 litre capacity providing enough space to serve up to 5 portions There are many slow cookers on the market, offering varying levels of sophistication and functionality for different prices. Before you buy, here are a few things to consider:

All models were scored for the ease and intuitiveness of their set-up and cooking. We looked for easily selectable controls, intuitive cooking functions and properly fitting lids. Please note under the Criminal Justice Act 1988, we are only allowed to sell knives to persons aged 18 and over. Proof of age will be requested by the courier. The slow cookers featured in this review were tested in controlled conditions using a standardised testing criteria. All were scored against the following criteria:

Posting in chat for traffic... I recently bought a 6.5 litre slow cooker (5.5 litre working capacity) for batch cooking. I understand that the yield from this beast is usually 8 servings, but the few recipes that came in the instruction booklet (food I’m not keen on anyway) were 5 or 6 servings.
