I've heard some people on streaming services turning off Dolby Vision and HDR10 so they can watch it in SDR.All the other technical aspects are superb just as you would expect- VFX, Costumes, Set design, etc. Not being familiar with what source material there is on this occasion does mean I found myself wanting to know how it would turn out. I'm a BIG fan of the original Game of Thrones series, well, let's be honest, up to about season 5, maybe, leaning into season 6. Even in the case of the exclusive featurettes, they feel more like a remixing of the other featurettes than something unique unto itself. If this simply came with more actual original and exclusive content, I would be recommending every fan go out and get themselves a copy.
