About this deal

I really think these bits of information really add to the recipes of the book as it helps you understand where the passion comes from, passion to me is very important when it comes to food and cooking. I really would recommend checking out Beyond Brilliant if you want to learn how to make tasty authentic Indian dishes from a family that has a real passion for the food they produce.

To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Dipna showcases her secret family recipes created by her grandfather Beyond Brilliant which includes authentic Punjabi recipes from the kitchens of her restaurant as well as a few of her own unique and creative recipes. The book brings a brilliant modern healthy twist to Indian cooking, and is beyond brilliantly the first cross over Indian book I have read switching from restaurant cookery to home cookery. There is a section on Dipna being a student and then taking the role of a teacher, she does many lectures or food demonstrations. Add red chili, salt, turmeric powder, garam masala, cumin seeds, coriander powder, and baking soda and pomegranate seeds and mix again thoroughly. There is then a section on the Brilliant Restaurant where you can read about Dipna’s farther Gulu Anand and the restaurants head chef Jasvinderjit Singh.

Other children's books include "Kay's Marvellous Medicine" and his first picture book "Amy Gets Eaten". It’s hard work but the book is fantastic and tells you how to prepare the ingredients and has loads of wonderful dishes from starts to mains to desserts.

Beyond Brilliant is combination of amazing recipes and easy to cook with simple ingredients which are available in every Indian Kitchen. There are many familiar recipes in the book found on a take-away cards and also traditional home style cooking. Signed by the author on the first page otherwise the pages are bright, unmarked, in very good condition and tightly bound. Dipna’s brother has been in the restaurant for 10 years as well as working hard in the restaurant he is working on finding new new clients and bringing in new business.

If I lived in London I'd be signed up to take the authors cookery course and visit the restaurant to try the real food and hopefully get my book signed! Its interesting to read that her mother didn’t know how to cook but with time and practice she now cooks and even says she could teach her husband a few things. Minty Yoghurt Chutney is one of those dips which you can eat with anything and it gives fresh and blissful flavor to appetizers like samosas, kebabs and pakoras. The book includes over 50 recipes and is clearly set out with ingredients, spices and methods for each recipe making it easy to follow and user friendly. By using the Web site, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by the Terms and Conditions.

One thing you can really tell from the book is that the whole Brilliant business is a family business and that family means a great deal to them, which I think its excellent! When I got a chance to meet and chat with Dipna Anand for her new book “Beyond Brilliant: Inspired Indian Cooking” is really big opportunity for me.I do love Indian food, there are always so many different levels of flavour that just makes it so tasty. Its obvious that Dipna and the entire Brilliant family have a to of love for what they do and passion for Indian food.
