Dryzone System is produced in the UK by Safeguard Europe, who specialise in providing waterproofing and damp-proofing solutions for the construction industry. Flaking paint, peeling wallpaper, a “musty” odour, and timber decay are among the most common symptoms of rising damp. For heritage projects, or where replastering needs to be minimised Dryzone Renovation Plasters should be used. These tests demonstrate that Dryzone offers a higher degree of protection against rising damp than the chemical injection systems that it was designed to replace. In all cases the most effective target site is to drill horizontally directly into the mortar course, preferably at the top of all perpends of the selected course.

It is ideal for use before the application of Dryzone Mould-Resistant Emulsion Paint or paints and grouts mixed with Dryzone Anti-Mould Additive. Some mention that it is easy to use and has not damaged the paintwork on the walls or the oak, while others say that it doesn't kill the spores and bleaches the paint on the wall.

Dryzone damp-proofing cream revolutionised the treatment of rising damp when it was launched in 2000. The Dryzone cream is introduced by means of a simple applicator gun into a series of holes drilled into the mortar course.

The most practical and effective way to do this is to make an existing mortar course into a waterproof barrier, using high strength damp-proofing products. Dryzone damp-proofing cream has also been tested independently by the British Board of Agrément (BBA), UK member of the European Union of Agrément. Drill holes at 120mm centres along the mortar course of the walled to be damp-proofed using a 12mm drill-bit.Dryzone is a special silicone based damp proof injection cream that treats and protects against rising damp. The insert for the car is resistant to deformation, retains its flexibility to temperature changes, and is resistant to chemicals and abrasion.
