This book may not be my favorite of the series so far, but I definitely liked it more than book 2 and book 3 put together.

I love them both separately a lot but together...I was a little Aham about it at first. But by now I see the pattern of Author Emily's characters falling in love rather drastically, so I'm not fully surprised! A valuable advice, you should read the Never After series after revisiting the fairytales it was inspired by. Love J.R. Like a great mix of Paranormal Romance, ContIan calls Julian, demanding the lamp in exchange for her life. He tells Julian that he has years of pent up aggression that Julian never let him release. He reveals he’s waiting with Darryn Anders (the guy who’s been looking for the lamp for years and was annoyed that Julian’s people were in “his” territory.

I wish the ending hadn't been so approximate and definitely still needing some answers, but I'll take what I get. While I appreciated that Julian was a villain in every sense of the word, I wish the main characters (cough cough Yasmin) could do shitty things without them being justified because they were betrayed. The villain can still get the girl while the (original) hero is still good guy of the story! It would be an interesting concept that the series has yet to explore. Yasmin is a brat who speaks out of turn, and he's the villain of her story. But he decides she'll be his―no matter what it takes to convince her. Yasmin Karam, daughter of one of the richest men in the world, has never known strife. So, when her beloved father falls ill, she is determined to make his final days his happiest. His last wish? There’s a scuffle, and it ends with Riya nearly dead, Ian incapacitated, Julian at Darryn’s mercy to protect Yasmin, and Aidan dragging Yasmin away to save her. There’s a gunshot, and Yasmin believes Darryn killed Julian. The American writer and novelist Emily McIntire is well known for publishing numerous contemporary romance titles. With plenty of fun and entertaining books, she’s known for drawing her readers in and keeping them there constantly throughout. This approach to writing is something that she’s excelled at over the years, really managing to find her own voice as time goes on. Setting herself apart from other writers within her field, she really pushes the conventions of the genre forwards, fully making them her own. Also known as a songwriter too, Emily McIntire is extremely creative and versatile in a variety of different areas. The written word has always compelled her from a young age though, especially with her love of Harry Potter as a child.
