When Elegoo rebooted their FDM lineup with the Neptune 2 a few years back, it took the 3D Printing world by storm. The textured bed did not require any glue stick as a buffer layer and the print popped off as easily as PLA once cool. Each one of these layers is then prepared as a series of paths for the printer to follow before it raises its print head for the next layer.

Thanks to a magnetic PEI platform with good adhesion and high heat resistance, the printed part will peel off by itself once the build plate cools down. The self-developed mechanism of the direct dual-gear extruder guarantees an almost 3-fold extrusion ratio (3:1) and a stronger extrusion force for more precise prints. The Neptune 3 Pro, on the other hand, brings with it an integrated LED light bar and moves that bowden extruder to an incredibly compact direct drive extruder with some of the best flexible performance on the market, being able to print 70A TPU with relative ease.
