We bought the 3D version that does proper justice to the cinematic experience; the, colours, the scenery and CGI comes across really well. BFI Flipside is dedicated to rediscovering the margins of British film, reclaiming a space for forgotten movies and filmmakers who would otherwise be in danger of disappearing from our screens forever. that's true of any MCU movie (heck, any MOVIE for that matter), yet after seeing several reviews suggesting "this movie only got rave reviews because of the black cast", I have to wonder how widespread the alt-right campaign to knock down the film's Rotten Tomatoes and IMDB score actually was. Beyond the rich world and traditions of Wakanda, I really loved all the strong female characters in Black Panther.

Directed by Ian Merrick, this intelligent crime drama charts the infamous killing spree which Donald Neilson, aka The Black Panther, perpetrated across England during the mid-70s, culminating in the kidnapping and murder of a 17-year old girl. Even though the shoot was a lot of hard work and there were some incredibly physical scenes, we always found moments to have fun. Queen Ramonda, Shuri, M’Baku, Okoye and the Dora Milaje fight to protect the kingdom of Wakanda from intervening world powers in the wake of King T’Challa’s death.Okoye is the general of the army and the head of the Dora Milaje, so the way she fights is very traditional. This one is a bit more stand alone than others, but seeing 'Captain America; Civil War' will help you get into it, as it does follow on from events in that. Certain items can take longer to source than the estimated week, particularly during busy trading periods and may take longer to arrive at our warehouse. Everything from Stan Lee and Jack Kirby’s initial runs through to Don McGregor, Christopher Priest, Jonathan Hickman and Brian Stelfreeze.

It was a beautiful day on set and I thought it was a great way for us to find out where Bucky had been hiding in Wakanda. We take intellectual property concerns very seriously, but many of these problems can be resolved directly by the parties involved.
