About this deal

Described as a Hitchockian drama, the film stars Sandra Hüller as a woman on trial following her husband’s mysterious death in the Alps. The trial soon becomes not just an investigation, but a gripping psychological journey into the depths of Sandra and Samuel's complicated marriage. I thought this dark BBC thriller was not only original, but extremely well filmed, suspenseful, realistic (real northern Irish actors and Gillian Anderson a word perfect English lady, in what clearly is Belfast itself), very well acted all round. It's a reunion for Johnson and Leitch, who worked together most recently on Bullet Train, and if the tone of this movie is the same as that, then there'll be plenty of fun riffing. When it becomes apparent that a serial killer is on the loose, local detectives must work with Stella to find and capture Paul Spector, who is attacking young professional women in the city of Belfast.

With conflicting evidence and inconsistent testimony, words are wielded like weapons and shocking truths come to light in this acclaimed Palme d’Or winning drama. Elsewhere, Emily Blunt is also on board playing Gosling's ex-turned-employer, the director of the movie that's falling apart thanks to its star going walkabout. Box Office: Lionsgate's Action-Thriller Fall and A24's Bodies Bodies Bodies Hope to Benefit From Utter Lack of New Blockbusters". About the first season, David Thomson of The New Republic said: "The BBC's Latest Import is Modern, Chilling, and Groundbreaking. While we endeavour to include SDH where possible, the costs involved in creating and authoring are calculated on a per-minute basis and unfortunately we are often faced with such prohibitive costs to include SDH that it can limit our capacity to release the product at all.Experience a heart-pounding tale of survival from the producers of 47 Meters Down where sacrifice may just be the only way out. Not much is out there yet about the film's vibe yet, but let's hope we get some good old-fashioned Gosling schtick.

There is infrequent strong language ('f**k'), as well as milder terms (for example, 'prick', 'bitches', 'dick', 'fricking', 'shit', 'tits', 'asshole', 'ass', 'son of a bitch', 'Jesus', 'Christ', 'hell', 'God', 'damn'). The ending does feel pretty abrupt and I feel like we missed a couple good scenes on the cutting room floor in favor of run time. The second series was broadcast on Netflix's "Watch Instantly" service, starting in January 2015, in the United States. As The Marvels struggles at the box office, we wonder whether there are signs that audiences are willing to wait for certain films to appear on.
