About this deal

Magnetic lashes can typically be applied one of two ways; with a magnetic eyeliner or by sandwiching your real lashes in between two strips of magnetic lashes. Both methods use magnetization to adhere the lashes and are way less messy than using typical lash glue, not to mention more gentle on the eyelid. The eyeliner method is definitely easier to master, but if you don’t like the look of eyeliner you may want to try the second method. It really comes down to personal preference and how much patience you have. When it comes to mascara, I look for something lengthening, curling and that doesn’t smudge throughout the day. Using the wand, I raked the mascara through my lashes, making sure I started right at my lash line. I like to apply one coat of mascara to each eye, let it set a little bit, and then go in with a second layer.

Its long name is fitting because length is exactly what you can expect from this magnetic mascara. But in true Benefit style, that’s not it. Scroll to find out exactly why we’re tipping this lengthening mascara to be the next big thing in our no holds barred review. That you can create long lashes with just the right amount of volume in just a few swipes. It’s foolproof. The one thing I really don’t get is why the call it magnetic because that’s not actually how it works. But anyway, Santhilea’s Magnetic Lash Mascara comes with two products; a mascara and a lash builder and has a simple 1-2-1 application process. First apply a coat of the Magnetic Mascara and then gently apply the lash builder, which contains lots of soft little fibers. The key is to apply the fibres evenly, concentrating on the ends. Now apply another coat of the Magnetic Mascara, smoothing and sealing the fibres using long brush strokes. Gently comb the mascara over the top rather than zig-zagging and ensure that each lash is thoroughly covered with Magnetic Mascara, to hold the fibres in place. And voila now you have long, fluttery lashes! You can repeat steps two and three as many times as you like, depending on just how long and va-va-voom you want your lashes to be. When I was finished applying the mascara and inspected my lashes in the mirror, I was every bit impressed. This mascara helped me achieve my goal of having lashes that pop on camera, so it's safe to say it has won me over. The lengthening effects were clearly visible, making it appear as though I glued on a pair of fluttery faux lashes. Though there were a few small clumps on my lashes post-application, that's not a dealbreaker for me. The dynamic formula allows it to provide stunning definition, volume, and length that lasted all day. And if you're wondering, it didn't flake or smudge at all.

If you have larger eyes, consider yourself blessed—you’re spared from the annoyance of cutting and shaping faux lashes. These lashes from MoxieLash are on the larger side, so if you have long eyes, these are a great option to consider. Larger strips have the potential to be more irritating since they cover more area, but that’s not the case with these lashes. We liked how comfortable they felt once they adhered to the magnetic liner; we couldn’t feel the magnets at all, even when we blinked or moved our eyes around. Though they have a cat-eye shape, they don’t look too fake and provide a touch of glam perfect for a party or special event. Just keep in mind that once they attach to the liner, they’re super strong. If you need to readjust, you may have to use a little extra effort. Aim to apply your regular eyeliner prior to topping it with a magnetic one. Keep in mind that the kind of eyeliner that usually comes in a kit with magnetic eyelashes might not be the one that you're used to. I, for one, am not as good with a traditional liquid eyeliner as I am with a felt tip marker. So if I'm going for a crisp cat-eye look, I'll make sure to draw my wing first, then outline the rest of the shape and fill the rest in with the magnetic liner. That way, you can achieve a cleaner and sharper result every time. Absolutely. In fact, many experts have dubbed them safer and much less irritating than traditional falsies, as eyelash glue can damage natural lashes and is also rather unpleasant if it gets into your eyes. The lashes are easy to remove though, and the eyeliner rubbed off well with an oil-based cleanser. These ones are reusable up to 15 times. Made from Korean silk, these falsies are the next best thing to your natural lashes. In fact, our tester even dubbed these some of the softest and most comfortable lashes she had ever worn. That said, she didn’t think they complemented her eye shape well and suggests only purchasing these if you have larger, nonhooded eyes because they look very heavy on smaller eyes. yes! As you can see my from my picture, it gave me length and body. I’m wondering where all of those lashes hiding? Many people find the original they’re Real! Mascara hard to remove. However, it’s all about the formula you use to take it off. Benefit has a dedicated they’re Real! Remover if you’d like to stay within the range or I’d recommend a bi-phase eye makeup remover. A bi-phase formula combines two phases of oil and water mixed, which lift away stubborn, long-wear makeup without pulling or tugging. One of my favourites is La Roche-Posay Respectissime. If you’re looking for an all-around crowd-pleasing lash that is easy to apply, looks cute, and stays put, this is it.
