We bought this car from Simon Leeming (via Bill Rawles) in 2020 to replace a lovely late Mk 3 Healey 3000 which my wife Claire had long competed with, but was sadly wrecked in a fire drama on her way back from Gurston in 2019. It was re-imported into the UK in 2012 by club racer Steve Baker who has since commissioned the rebuild and now offers it for sale. A multiple class winner in hands of John Barnard in the 1996 and 1997 Castle Combe GT series, the car benefitting from extensive development from Gould Engineering during this time. Competitors are given practice runs before the competition starts, before a minimum of two competitive runs, with the best time counting in the final results.The car is all ready to go but needs a bit of TLC as it has only done a few events in the last three years, with none this year. Owned by Western Australian Martin Bullock for the past eleven years, and raced in his homeland and in Historic F2 events throughout Europe.
