When using the toastie plate, we were pleased to find it didn’t take too long to heat up — around three minutes — and it fits medium-sized slices of bread with ease. It includes interchangeable plates, letting you make sandwiches, waffles and grill for ultimate versatile cooking. But, they were well sealed and toasted and we could fit a generous amount of cheese inside each one. They came out perfectly golden and had a good bite to them, with all the cheese melted evenly and sealed inside. This is a classic George Foreman grill; it has a floating hinge and slanted plates with a non-stick coating. The sandwich plates are large and can definitely fit bigger slices of bread and more fillings, which is perfect if you like hearty toasties (and who doesn’t?
