Although I was not big on the slightly religious undertones in some of the chapters, I do believe that we are here for a reason and if that is the case, something created us. With fear we do things because we expect that we have to, and we expect that others are going to do the same. There is really not need for the book to be as long as it is, you could summarise it in an entire page.
The reason I gave it 3 stars was because there was a lot of repetition and the writing was not the best BUT I will not let this stop you from reading this book. You will forgive them not because they deserve to be forgiven, but because you don’t want to suffer and hurt yourself every time you remember what they did to you. We enter into terrible relationships simply because we have no love for others, no love for ourselves, and we need someone else to give it to us. I think that while trying to be more accepting in our daily lives would probably be of benefit to ourselves and others I also feel there are times when anger, sadness and negative feelings are justifiable and sometimes cannot be avoided. You don’t need to justify your love, you don’t need to explain your love; you just need to practice your love.
