About this deal

Miss Root’s hair was white-blonde, and arranged in a perfectly lacquered ‘do’, usually only spotted on the heads of Queens or Prime Ministers. Alfie hasn’t been to the dentist for six years due to a bad experience which left him so terrified he has hidden all the reminder letters. It's a funny story combined with jokes and makes you want to burst into tears of laughter but sometimes you can feel sorry for the characters. Running Time: 2 hours inc interval The performance will include flashing lights (not strobe) and haze is used throughout. Most of us thought the pictures were entertaining and helped us to understand the characters, just one of us thought the pictures weren't so important because we can use our imagination anyway.

I adored the characters, especially good old Raj; I cannot get enough of Raj in this novel, he is simply amazing! It's about a demon masquerading as a crazy dentist hellbent on ripping every child's entire mouthful of teeth out, leaving disgusting, vile 'gifts' under their pillow as a treat (like badger's paws and bat's wings, for example). Mr Erstwhile told Alfie the tooth in question was rotten, a filling wouldn’t save it and unfortunately he had no option but to take it out.Demon Dentist is in many ways his saddest book, but I found Billionaire Boy much more moving and that was about a rich kid! Foster’s production for The Birmingham Stage Company, where he is the actor-manager, is a comic strip world of grotesque characters, pacey pursuits and brightly coloured sets designed by Jacqueline Trousdale. Como tenho mais de 10 anos de diferença do protagonista, esta história já não me cativou tanto, mas, mesmo assim, é divertida e ainda emociona.

Together they: went out fishing for the day in Scotland and caught the Loch Ness Monster; climbed the Himalayan Mountains and came face to face with the Abominable Snowman; Slew a huge fire-breathing dragon. He worked harder and harder to dig more and more coal, eve taking on extra shifts to help make ends meet. Nevertheless, Alfie’s father had taught him to wear his uniform with pride; the boy’s frayed tie was always knotted absolutely perfectly. The book has 440 pages but it was fun to read and didn't take too long and the pictures by Tony Ross are not great….His novels have sold over eighteen million copies worldwide and have been translated into over fifty-three languages.
