About this deal

Keeps odour level very low and is absorbent enough to make cleaning out the litter tray easy (says the wife! It does not absorb properly - unless I completely emptied the cat loo every day they were standing in their own urine. The only downside is it’s super light weight, and it will strip the water column of nutrients and carbonates but everyone’s mileage varies. Purchased first time and love it, cats prefer this as had 2 trays with the usual and this in the other.

This 100% natural clay has the main characteristic of forming agglomerates in the presence of liquids, facilitating their elimination. br>The litter is OK but it turns cats paws pink and is most definitely not good for them to clean thier own paws and it's also very dusty. It has a unique odour control system which is activated when your cat uses the tray, releasing a clean fresh scent. It seems the link above points to a page that has been updated because the TESCO Cat Litter on the original article is now discontinued in the UK.No problem with the cats and it did the job but, I found it very dusty and, after half a day, smelt terrible. They've always got on with the Sanicat brand so I just won't show them the bag so they aren't aware that something's different. Nature and cats are why we exist, and we want to minimize our social and environmental footprint – or better yet, paw print. Our three different litter families allow you to make a choice that is right for your cat and also gives you peace of mind in knowing that your furry friend has a clean, hygienic space that keeps the environment in mind.

This litter I believe is made from a fired clay and what is good about it is that it doesn't break down when it gets wet. Hello, i've read cat litter topic but my english have some limits and there is some things that i have hard time to understand, does anybody know if that kind of cat liter okay for aquarium use ? So I use sanicat pink non clumping and up to now it works great, wonderful stuff and cats think so as well. The clay particle size is larger than the old Tesco's alternative but looks better and is a closer approximation to akadama. We have used Sanicat pink for years now because it does its job and doesn`t clump together thus only the bit that is fouled has to be thrown away. You want the one that has very hard grains, it feels like rough gravel and is impossible to crush with your fingers.

Thus, we pride ourselves as the experts in cat litter and know that we have a perfect solution for you and your cat. In contact with liquids, the clay granules agglomerate and solidify, neutralizing odors and preventing bacterial proliferation.

Sanicat seems to mask the smell very well, the only down side is that it stains items pink if you are not careful. for the last lot I bought, but when they turned up they weren't clay at all but sawdust based, so OK for spills, but not ideal for tanks. Each litter has unique qualities that serve the specific needs of your household and your furry friend. Personally I would prefer the Sanicat to be mixed with something that had a smaller lump size as I feel it is a bit big to use on its own.
