SMILER photographer Yve Paige was also on hand to get some great photos and said ‘The best bits about a Rod concert is who you share it with. Then again, it became a mainstay of their setlists after its release, so it deserves a spot in here. My goal with this blog is to rebuild lost and unreleased albums or create alternate versions of released albums by the artists I love.

This album reminds me of Exile on main street, as there is enough chaos in the instruments, explosions of guitar playing, horns, violins, steel drums, piano layers all thrown in to make it a very good rock and roll release. Tired of being sidelined and overshadowed, he quit the band shortly afterward, and began a solo career for himself, recording his first album in 1974.The magic of his first 4 Mercury albums has definitely worn off but that doesn't make it an out-and-out bad album.
