Let me start out by saying that I'm a sucker for good retellings, and this one was absolutely fantastic. It has the ideal romance tropes aka as, one of them is injured so there's angst, there's mutual pining, slowburn get together. I found myself being drawn into the story of 'Peter Darling' far more easily and readily than I was ever drawn into the original story of Peter Pan.
