About this deal

The extent of grief is the marriage of the greatness of the person we’ve lost and the enormity of the love we felt for them. As noted, the pacing was good, I appreciate mysteries that don't get bogged down in too many twists and turns and are instead bringing the reader along with the investigation, the author does not pull tricks that make the reader feel mislead. If you are looking for crime fiction, something action packed that will keep you guessing then i highly recommend this one.

BEFORE and NOW but with Helen’s amazing writing ability you will be kept guessing even when you think you know, and even when you’re told who must be behind all this misery and mayhem. I’m a forensics graduate with a fairly strong stomach but I had to ‘look away’ a few times and regroup.Since I don’t know the characters from start, my review will focus on the plot instead of interpersonal relationships. And their support network, as they lead the hunt for the bomber while battling their own grief and mental demons, is comprised of some endearingly feisty and wise characters also. It features Dr Connie Woolwine who is a psychological profiler from The Shadow …more I'm currently working on my first UK hardback novel coming out in 2023. But Edinburgh, he discovers, is a long way from Lyon, and Elaine's killer has covered his tracks with meticulous care.

I always really enjoy reading the books in this this series as I know they have well developed characters who I have come to like immensely. While the tension is high in the investigation in the present, clues can also be found in the chapters set in the before chapters. I enjoyed both narrators and didn’t find myself trying to rush or skim one of them to get back to the other one.Popular author and eclectic Witch Deborah Blake shares her wisdom on a variety of topics, including candle magic, divination, correspondences, and magical recipes. This time, it is personal, Ava is affected directly by the death of her friend and still grieving when she needs all her wits to hunt down the serial killer. Now, Helen Fields has never been one to shy away from the tense and dramatic in her novels, and the 'Perfect' series has some very memorable and sometimes macabre scenes, but if you thought that what has gone before was shocking, you have seen nothing yet.

The killer taunts them, providing just enough notice and clues to cause maximum devastation - and devastate it does. Parlabane found the word 'pro-active' enormously useful, as it immediately exposed the speaker as an irredeemable arsehole, whatever previous impression might have been given. This grounded, real-world quality extends to the scarily everyday nature of the events that cumulatively trigger the bomber’s devasting actions. There's also some very emotional moments and those who are following the series will be moved and upset by these. Ava Turner is attending the funeral of her dear friend and pathologist, she then has to go and watch the video of how the death happened. Being new to such a well established series did not spoil my enjoyment at all as you are immediately gripped by the story. Revenge drives the bomber and you'll slowly see the pattern and worry about favorite characters with every threat.
