Part 6 was not among the previously completed tracks, but it was released on February 26, 2013, on the third anniversary of Seba's death. Only thing I noticed, side C, "World Without Words", on the Jin LP, had quite noticeable inner groove sounding distortion on the higher end claps. His music is known for a strong cool jazz influence, frequently using samples from artists like Miles Davis and Yusef Lateef. Additionally, Seba collaborated on the soundtrack for Shinichirō Watanabe's anime series Samurai Champloo ( Music Record: Departure and Impression) in 2004.

Seba adopted the stage name Nujabes (his name spelled backwards) and became notable for his approach to producing hip hop beats, often blending jazz influences into his songs creating a mellow, nostalgic and atmospheric sound. Though to be fair, if you set your needle and anti-skate properly, you can omit those skips -speaking from personal experience.On Bandcamp, the New York-based Digi Crates records released a series of tribute albums performed by various artists in a style reminiscent of Seba's. I own the original CD copies of these tracks and I think I like the sound of the records more, other than "World Without Words" but its bass is still awesome. Though atm still slept on, the second compilation not having had much attention, I'm sure this will gather interest for many fans and will sell like hot cakes when the word spreads more.

Although relatively niche during his lifetime, Seba has since achieved posthumous acclaim and been referred as the "godfather" of lo-fi hip hop. On October 21, 2020 Chester Watson released the album A Japanese Horror Film [21] featuring a track titled “Nujabes”. The Samurai Champloo 3xLP coloured releases which popped up a while ago had some skipping issues on a few tracks, none on these releases! Co-founder Gus Navarro remarked that, "The music of the late producer Nujabes is something to hold onto and never let go. Side A also had an abnormal amount of surface noise and eventual dirty on my stylus on the first playing even after a wet cleaning. He released numerous albums in this style, with 2005's "Modal Soul" being widely accepted as the finest example.
