About this deal

So anyone who is a regular reader will know I have such a sweet tooth so when I found this recipe on Janes Patisserie, I knew I just HAD to try and make it myself! You can use a baking spread like Stork in rocky road, but I much prefer using butter as I think it tastes better.

Here’s some helpful tips to ensure you don’t make those mistakes and end up with a beautiful Malteser cheesecake! You can also use Malted Milk Biscuits, Bourbon biscuits or Chocolate Hobnobs instead of Oreos if you like. They have an indulgent chocolate sponge, topped with creamy and silky Maltesers buttercream, and a Maltesers Teaser chocolate on top. Slowly add the milk and beat until the batter has loosened and all the ingredients are fully combined. It is rich and creamy with malty crunchy pieces – a true showstopper dessert that’s easy and, best of all, NO BAKE!If you are melting the Malteser Teasers, let them cool for 10 minutes, then stir them into the filling mixture. All you have to do is decorate just before serving, and let’s be honest – that’s the really fun part!

If this is the case, leave it to set at room temperature instead of the fridge so it’ll be softer and won’t crack when you cut it! Hi Alison, once it's been made and left to set you can't do anything to change the texture, but you can still enjoy the cheesecake and it doesn't affect the taste at all. Please also check the labels of all the ingredients you use to ensure they are gluten free and avoid cross contamination. Although you can make these cupcakes gluten free, because Maltesers and malt powder are not gluten free, they will end up being chocolate cupcakes with a vanilla buttercream.Calories: 985 kcal | Carbohydrates: 93 g | Protein: 9 g | Fat: 45 g | Saturated Fat: 27 g | Trans Fat: 2 g | Cholesterol: 193 mg | Sodium: 521 mg | Potassium: 248 mg | Fiber: 1 g | Sugar: 69 g | Vitamin A: 1412 IU | Vitamin C: 1 mg | Calcium: 106 mg | Iron: 1 mg If you like this, check out more of my Cake recipes! Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave – blast for 30 seconds, stir and microwave again until the chocolate melts. The main two things that makes it set is using the correct ingredients - you must use full fat cream cheese and double cream. On top are plenty of Maltesers of course, and if you're a Maltesers fan I know you're going to love this cake!

Divide the mixture between the cupcakes cases, and bake them for 20-25 minutes or until a thin skewer or cocktail stick inserted in the centre of the cupcakes comes out clean. If you can though, I think it is worth spending a little more for Philadelphia (and no they haven't paid me to say this! I am based in the UK and I find that Philadelphia cream cheese is the thickest and best quality cream cheese to use for no bake cheesecakes. I have made my own version of this on my blog so I know how utterly delicious it is, and how moreish it is too. Then add in the caster sugar (110g | 1/2 Cup + 1 tbsp), malt powder (95g | 1/2 Cup + 1 tbsp) and vanilla (1 tsp) and beat until the sugar and malt powder have completely dissolved. Also, If you don’t want to use the Malteser spread, you can use 300g of Dark or Milk chocolate on the top.
