About this deal

They are so pretty and act as a sort of grounding for reality, with a very comfortable sound as compared to these somewhat foreign (to me at least) synths. The arrival of Igor serves as a reset for the strong romantic emotions Tyler was entangled in during the album's first half. I enjoy the overlapping of the vocals on this track so much, like when he's rapping and then he also says some shit in the back. f] "Boyfriend" contains excerpts from "Fluid", written by John Charles Alder and performed by Twink.

The droning synth that was in the background now becomes deafening, contrasted strongly against the subdued beat. The singing on this track is superb, and represents the beginning of the concept/story of the album, showing his introduction to the lover. When the synths enter a wavy dream of perfectness, bobbing up and down like a tsunami heading towards a town, flying high, reaching the sky, before crashing down and delivering just the best sounds I've ever heard, it's amazing. Igor's Theme" incorporates uncredited elements of "Attention", performed by Head West; and "Scatin' ", performed by Dâm-Funk. While the lyrical content is glossed over, it’s still a fascinating listen and demonstrates Tyler’s rarely rivaled attention to detail in his work.

Rolling Stone critic Danny Schwartz said, " Igor is a heartfelt album that finds Tyler lowering his guard and revealing himself to be a shape-shifting artist who is still growing, and who has fully shed his skin as a vulgar internet cowboy".Vote up content that is on-topic, within the rules/guidelines, and will likely stay relevant long-term. The synth advances as another line is added, a fun and subtle one, remaining largely in the background. Igor's theme: This perfect opening begins with a long synthy wave of noise, one that is oddly unsettling and somewhat incomplete feeling, before the coolest drum line jumps in with weird and flashy vocals. a] "I Think" incorporates elements of "Get Down", written and composed by Bodiono Nkono Télesphore, and performed by Nkono Teles; and "Special Lady", written and performed by Bibi Mascel.

The limited edition "mint" pressing is by Memphis Record Pressing, an arm of GZ Media and that edition has not yet arrived. This is all supported by a static my and barely audible acoustic guitar track, that drops out for a more traditionally “IGOR” sounding synth and drum sample later on, where Tyler drops a low pitched and subdued verse discussing his regrets and losses over the relationship, but ending the song by saying he’s happy that the one he loved has found peace without him. The album employs the " Igor" literary archetype to explore themes associated with love, such as heartbreak, loss, and jealousy.I highly recommend listening to the album before reading my song by song review of this work of art.
