I loved the part where he came to her when she pressed on her pager and he just swooped her into his arms and wanted to do anything for her. I don't have much else to say there's two things that make this series so incredible one the writing and two Warner you can read this for either one and be happy! I will say that the next two books are leaps and bounds better but damn this first one is just a dumpster fire. This book collects her two companion novellas, Fracture Me and Destroy Me, in print for the first time ever. I loved this series the writing is literally insane there are moments where being inside the main characters head is just crazy and then there are those moments that you legit have to read over and over again its like I said insane!Adam e Warner sono fratellastri, e anche questo colpo di scena viene gestito in maniera terribile: i due si odiano a morte e vogliono ammazzarsi a vicenda (ricordiamo che Warner ha quasi torturato a morte Adam nel primo libro, ma a quanto pare non frega più niente a nessuno), e poi, una volta scoperto questo segreto, cosa succede? In full disclosure, it’s been a really long time since I read the the first batch of Shatter Me books. It’s a novella not to be missed by fans who crave action-packed stories with tantalizing romance like Divergent by Veronica Roth, The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins, and Legend by Marie Lu. I’m writing a manifesto for them and there’s so much to say about their connection that I have to hold back (for my Project Sixty-Two entry). This has a lot of great action and I loved the ending but there’s so much wangst between Juliette and Adam that I just wanted to bash my head into the wall.
