But I will say that some of the more enjoyable films out there are those that poke fun at themselves and/or their genre. who has just picked up a new trophy dog, is hoping to beat Syd at his own game with help from his new partner, Reba (Ayoola Smart).All of which means that Cocaine Bear has to work pretty hard to do something that we haven’t seen before, and although we’ve seen animals affected by pesticides, microwaves, laser beams from space and bits of meteors that have dropped in the sea, we haven’t actually seen a wild beast go mad on narcotics. And forget about taking a satisfying bite out the film’s flimsy themes and metaphors which touch on mom power, and the complicated relationship between parents and children.
